PMP Exam Preparation

PMP ® Exam Prep is designed to prepare students to successfully pass the Project Management Professional exam issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI ®). This course is also designed to satisfy the 35 hours of project management education (PDU ®) required by PMI ® in order to qualify to take the exam. The PMP ® is an internationally acclaimed professional credential which will open many doors for those who obtain it.

This four and one-half day course prepares attendees to pass the PMP ® Exam by helping them understand the following:
	1.	PMI ® Specific Terminology
		Learn how PMI ® defines and approaches project management.
	2.	The Five Project Management Process Groups
		Understand initiating, planning executing, monitoring and controlling and closing processes within project management.
	3.	The Nine Project Management Knowledge Areas
		Learn about integration, scope, time, cost, resource, procurement, communications, quality and human resources management.
	4.	Inputs, tools, techniques and outputs
		Understand how PMI ® defines and relates each of these processes to each other.
	5.	Test preparation skills
		Receive tips, tricks and help on how to apply, prepare for and take the PMP® Exam.

Participants learn PMI ® specific project management skills from certified PMP ® instructors and apply them to a simulated project that allows them to experience each process and knowledge area.

This course is based upon the Project Management Institute’s Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK ®). It has proven very beneficial in preparing students for the Project Management Professional (PMP ®) certification exam.
