Project Risk Management is vital to the success or failure of a project. Risks, or unknowns, can have significant positive or negative effects on project outcomes. This course teaches project managers how to identify risk, quantify its impact and respond to the occurrence of risk events.

Receive 8 to 16 Professional Developement Units ( PDU ®) with the Project Management Institute PMI ® for attending this course.

This one or two-day course provides participants the critical skills to:
1. Prepare a risk management plan
Decide how to approach, plan, and execute risk management activities
2. Identify risks to your project
Determine which risks might affect your project
3. Quantify the effect of risks to your project objectives
Prioritize risks based upon their probability and impact to your project
4. Plan your risk response
Develop options and actions to enhance opportunities and reduce threats to your project
5. Monitor and control risks
Track and control project risks throughout the project lifecycle

Class members have a hands-on learning experience using real world case studies. Participants practice vital steps of risk management under the guidance and instruction of skilled Project Managers.
